Future You invites Years 3–7 classrooms across Australia to join our Find Your Path competition! One classroom from each year level will win BIG with plenty of exciting prizes on offer.

From 14 October to 28 November, your class will answer one question each week about STEM careers. You can find the correct answers on the Future You Pathfinder posters (they look great on your classroom wall!). Download them today and put them up around your classroom. Then, submit your entry each week.

What’s in it for your class?

  • A 20-min session for your class with Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith, astronomer, author, TV presenter, and super interesting person.

Ways you can do this competition with your class

Looking for inspiration and ways you can do our competition with your students? There’s no right way or wrong way, but plenty of fun ways! Here’s a few ideas we’ve thought of, but feel free to do it your way and most importantly, have fun!

  • Have it up on the board and ask your class to guess as a group.
  • Break students into smaller groups and encourage groups to come up with as many answers as possible that could be suitable.
  • As an extension activity for your fast finishers.
  • After-break activity.
  • An ice-breaker.
  • A quick reset activity.
  • A carpet time activity.
